Sacrificing to Win PDF Print E-mail
adrainFive years ago, Adrain Childers was a 205 lbs. heavyweight at his first Musclemania World Championships.  But at a towering 6'3", he is the first to say he was a stick.  "I trained for like a year and a half and got blown away.  I wasn't ready," says Adrain.  Going home with a 4th Place trophy, he hid away for the next three years before making a comeback.   Adrain explains, "I knew I had my work cut out.  I wasn't going to get on stage again until I had the muscle I needed to win."  Now, he's weighing a massive 260 lbs.with 22" arms, 28" waist and shape usually seen on bodybuilders inches shorter.   "I train like an animal every day, eat like a horse and keep up on all the latest supplements.  I work at Vitamin Shoppe, so I see all the new stuff out there."  As a former basketball player, heavy weight training was something new for Adrain.  "It just tool me a little longer than I thought, but I am ready now."  Adrain is maintaining a lean 6% body fat as he prepares for Miami.  He attests, "I want to win the Universe bad.  I am sacrificing everything to win the heavyweights."
