Musclemania® California Champion Nelson Gonga says, "For the the past 3 years, I never thought there would be another higher lever to becoming so fit and lean. When I began competing and did my first show with MM that is when I started acquiring and learning so many different ideas about dieting and training. I learned that to gain a lot of muscle mass and becoming lean, I would have to eat lots of calories, eat about 170 grams of protein per day, as well as eating my complex carbs like sweet potato, quinoa, brown rice, oats etc. So I started following this routine and watching YouTube videos to learn different workout tips and incorporating them to my workout. I took fitness so serious at age 26 and have seen tremendous results over the past 3 years of dieting, competing and intense training." At 29 years old, 5'7", 185 lbs., Nelson says his goal is to get to 200 lbs of lean muscle in the next 2 years.
