My name is Daniel Tuitt, I’m 21 years old and am currently studying to be a PE teacher at Brunel university. I got into training when I was about 17 years old as i was fed up of being a fat kid lol. My personal goals to become as fit as possible and to generally feel better about myself. I achieved this through hard work and a strict training and diet programme.
When I came to university is where there was a big change to my training and I converted to bodybuilding. However I always had an interest in this sport as my uncle had competed in shows when I was a lot younger so you could say it runs in the family. it’s taken me 3 dedicated years to be at a reasonable level to compete and I took part in my 1st show in may 2009 where I came joint 7th but for me this was a major accomplishment. I’m now training for my 2nd competition and I believe the extra year can excel me to come 1st as I’ve put the work, time and effort into training and I deserve to be up on the podium holding that trophy. It has been hard at times especially whilst dieting and training twice a day as sometimes it seems like your life is on hold or in slow motion, but these times is where you remember why you’re doing it and how great you are going to feel once the competition is over. I can tell you that after my 1st competition I felt like the king of the world as all the work had paid off and I got on that stage and performed like crazy!! I have high ambitions in this sport and hope one day to become a natural pro and compete against the best the world has to offer, I believe I have potential, pride, dedication and the support to get there. The support from U-Phorm has been phenomenal they have been there every step of the way and opened many doors which otherwise may of been kept locked. so a special thanks goes out to the guy that work there keep up the good work.
