He may have taken a six year sabbatical, but MM Pro phenom Ulisses made his comeback mark in Las Vegas and had the audience roaring! Since he last competed at the '04 MM World Pro, he moved to London, England with his family and opened a personal training studio. The rigors of entering the business world and in a another country took a lot of his time
and resources. So competition training, dieting and time demands just weren't available to Ulisses. But 12 months ago, he said, "It's time. I am ready and my body is talking to me. 'Damn, man. Get your ass into the gym and back on stage'!" The 5'9" New York native trained at 220 lbs. throughout the off-season and guest posed at the recent MM Britain. Then, with just 8 weeks before showtime, Ulisses began a slow, clean and smart diet. He never dropped below 198 lbs. and competed in ripped condition at 200 lbs. And, he follows an extremely clean diet throughout the year and includes a lot of flaxseed and other cleansing substances.
Next on Ulisses' contest calendar is the MM Universe in Miami in June. It will be a dynamic fight between Ulisses and many of the veteran MM Pros like local heros David Lovelace and Kevin Love and a hoard of new MM Pros aiming for the top spot.
