After injuring his quad last month, Model Latino Champion Deiwi says he's recovering and just training his upper body. "I am taking the time to work my lats," he explains. "Actually, my whole upper body is benefiting by not being able to train my legs. I won't be able to compete, but still staying lean." Deiwi is living in Miami Beach and will be one of the award presenters at Model Universe in June.
Musclemania® Paris Physique Greg Vong is never out of shape. The 5'7", 170 lbs., lifetime natural athlete says, "I have ànother photo shoot this weekend, so I cut carbs and am only eating vegetables and some fish. I'm doing fast carbing just before training, otherwise zero minimal carbs. I'm still training much heavier than usual with 20 minutes of cardio before and after training."
Greek lifetime natural bodybuilder Constantine Badidos says its been struggle to pursue serious training with the ongoing financial crisis. The 5'9", 206 lbs., 7%, nutrition store manager explains, "I am making the most of circumstances and not letting it interfere with my goals. I'm on 2,800 calories per day - 50% protein, 30% carbs and 20 fats. I'm doing cardio twice a day - once in the morning and again after training. My diet includes eggs, chicken, fish, Greek yogurt, potatoes and rice cakes .I use whey isolate, BCAA, Omega-3, multi-vitamin and chromium supplements."

Musclemania Central America Jhony Vasquez is among the most popular naturals in Latin America. The 5'9", 195 lbs., Honduran gym owner started training early. "I always loved bodybuilding from the time I begin lifting when I was 15 years old," Jhony explains. "I used to make my own weights at home it worked for about 4 years until I could afford to pay for the gym membership." Today, Jhony is training for MM Universe and hopes to earn MM Pro status and runs of Honduras' top fitness centers.
German athlete Pascal Munz was one of the most popular booth bodybuilders at FIBO last weekend. The 5'6", 174 lbs., 24 year old, mechanic has trained for 5 years and lifetime natural. Pascal says, "My diet is based entirely on calories, macro's and micros. I keep everything basic and just listen to my body. Whatever works."
