He's never competed before, but 6'2", 235 lbs., French natural athlete Bryan Macauley says he'll be ready for Musclemania® Paris and Europe in October. The former American football player started training to be a better defensive lineman, but says he got into serious bodybuilding when he saw his friends transform their physiques. "I got hooked and love hitting the gym every day," Bryan asserts. "Its part of body cycle now and I feel terrible without a workout." And, oh yes, that's teal blue hair. It was red last week!
"I am striving for excellence," says French bodybuilder Loic Zine. The 5'10", 205 lbs., 24 year old, lifetime natural has been training for 7 years and will make his show debut at Musclemania® Paris next month. "I never thought I would ever be on stage, I just liked hitting the weights. But, as my physique changed, so has my ambition with bodybuilding." Loic was a rugby player for many years before getting serious in the gym.
Musclemania® Paris Physique Greg Vong is a hallmark of a lean, muscular physique. With two months until the show, the 5'8", 175 lbs., French hospital orderly has mastered his diet, nutrition and metabolism. Greg says, "I'm still carb cycling but reducing my carb intake only before and after training. I have a carb 'refeed' once every 5 to 7 days. Currently, I hit session a week and low cardio 20 minutes after training every other day. But through it all, I keep low glycémique carbs only."
French natural bodybuilder Loic Zine says he went on vacation with his family to Greece, Italy and the French Riviera and has not touched a weight in a week! "I'm bad, real bad," Loic admits. "I haven't been in the gym and just spent time traveling with my parents. We had an incredible time, but I am so glad to be back in the gym today. I am back into my element and am motivated to get ready for my first show." At 5'10", 200 lbs., Loic actually only has 6 weeks until Musclemania® Amsterdam. Time will tell if he can transform his physique in time.
Training for Musclemania® Paris, French natural bodybuilder Jean-Christophe Blachère says arms are a critical part of his regimen. "I usually train my biceps and triceps in superset to put a maximum of intensity," he explains. The 5'7", 173 lbs., 35 year old engineer keeps lean all season. "I will start to cut in 2 weeks in order to be shredded for MM Paris in October. I plan to loose about 6 lbs. and improve the definition of my quads."
With just one recent show experience, French physique competitor Max Fox has become one of top new stars in the sport. The 5'8", 175 lbs., 23 year old played soccer for 14 years and got into lifting for strength. Now the former Parisian firefighter says he's making fitness his career. Max's next show appearance will be Musclemania Paris in October.
Musclemania® Paris Physique Champion Lionel Hantscher is just 6 weeks away from his international debut when he competes at MM Universe in Miami / Ft. Lauderdale. The 6'3", 210 lbs., former French National Swim Champion says, "I have put so much effort in changing my physique since the show last year. I've been eating a lot more lean meals, something I never did before because I wasn't interested in getting bigger. But now that I am MM Pro and will be competing against the best natural guys in the world, I can't make any excuses. It all depends on me.
French bodybuilder Loic Zine in naturally classic form. The 5'10", 220 lbs., 22 year old continues to grow while improving his condition. The construction worker says he works 6 days a week, 10 hours a day and trains after work. "Its hard work and I so exhausted at the end of each day," Loic says. "But, this is what I want to do. I thrive on going to the gym everyday and changing my body. I have a vision of what I want to become and visualize with every rep!" Loic will compete for the first time this fall at MM Amsterdam, MM Paris and MM Europe.

"I've been eating 6-7 meals a day, high protein, low and high carb cycling, about 250g protein and 100g fat," Loic explains.
